DANG IT!

I know it's been a while since I've posted- a LONG while-but it has been a super-busy year! I love, love, love my students. So, it's a great year...just busy. Nonetheless, this just begged to be posted.

Today, I was carrying a set of white, plastic, drawers from the computer lab (where I'd been grading feverishly while watching my students work) to my classroom. They were cumbersome, but not heavy. Right before I stopped to walk into the office, some precious student met me in the hallway.

Them-"Señorita, can we give you some help with that?"
Me-" "Oh thanks but no need. I'm going to run into the office...so I think I'll drop my drawers right here. "

I am thankful that:

1. I am at work today...and not at home sick.
2. I have the best students of my entire career.
3. I work for an administration that genuinely cares for students and teachers.
4. I have the opportunity to work with an extra curriculur that I am passionate about.
5. My classroom is air conditioned and clean.
6. It is 4:13, and I am going home.
